At the top: a halo, a sense of peace. A holistic view. Effective leadership requires a high vantage point, as well as an ability to see beyond the horizon, to the next milestone. For Andrew Page and his Range Rover SV, it all comes naturally. It fits.

Andrew’s relationship with Range Rover reaches back decades. His school bus would pass a holding location with hundreds of Range Rovers perfectly arranged behind a locked gate. A fleeting glimpse was enough. “It was the most unique yet refined vehicle I had ever seen.” The aura was undeniable. “Even at that point in my life, it was speaking to me.”

The pathway that took him from boyhood daydreams to an adulthood marked by high achievement and success has been sinuous but has maintained a steady rise. Now that he has manifested those dreams, he remains grounded by the vision that sparked his trajectory.

“Dreaming big, for me, has worked.”

“The chase was around refinements, looks and luxury.” Andrew understands that aspirations are worth nothing without their signifiers, and that refinement is a state of mind. The busy life of a Fortune 500 CFO is balanced by the sense of tranquility that he has created inside his Range Rover SV. “When I’m in it, we are one…It is uniquely me.”

In a word: different. Andrew has charted an unconventional course for himself, and as such, has sought ways to express that difference. More than a symbol of uncompromising luxury, his Range Rover sets him apart. High achievement, he believes, isn’t about achieving what others have not, but about knowing — and being the most effective version of — himself. In that respect, he has found a way forward.

“It parts the space. It becomes the talk. It has its own space, and it has a halo of space around it.”

Leadership may seem like a solitary endeavor. But Andrew understands that a true leader is only as potent as the individuals with whom they share their vision. To that end, he seeks to create pathways for others by demonstrating greatness every day. “When others see me truly happy, enjoying the fruits of my labor, I want them to think ‘That’s possible for me as well.’”

Clarity of vision. Clarity of direction. Clarity of mind. The bigger picture doesn’t reveal itself until an individual has created the necessary conditions. Every time Andrew Page steps inside his Range Rover, he creates space to dream. He reflects and represents the aspirations of the vehicle — the things you can’t put into words.
