Vehicle Warranty
As a Land Rover owner
There’s a lot you can do as an owner to keep your warranty valid.
Your owner’s handbook and service portfolio sets out how to take proper care of your Land Rover. It’s your responsibility to make sure your vehicle gets the maintenance it needs, using materials that meet Land Rover’s engineering specs. You could be risking your warranty if you don’t carry out necessary maintenance, including regular cleaning of bodywork, as per Land Rover’s service intervals.
The sooner problems are spotted, the easier they’re fixed. So take your vehicle to an Approved Service Centre as soon as possible; this helps avoid further damage and additional repairs.
And remember to keep any paperwork and receipts for maintenance or repairs, and always get any work recorded in your service portfolio.
3-year unlimited mileage warranty*
Your Land Rover is a feat of engineering, design and development. If any part of it needs repairing or replacing due to a manufacturing defect during these first three years, it’ll be done free of charge by any Approved Service Centre.
Your tyres are covered separately by the tyre manufacturer. However, your Approved Service Centre can help you with any claim.
Genuine Land Rover accessories are also covered by the same new vehicle warranty, providing they are fitted by an Approved Service Centre within one month or 1000 miles/1600km, whichever comes first.
WARRANTIES AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
EXTENDED WARRANTY
PARTS, PAINT AND CORROSION WARRANTIES
PARTS AND ACCESSORY WARRANTY
A 12 month warranty is provided with Land Rover Genuine Parts. This covers the cost of any parts that need replacement or are used in the repair of your Land Rover. All repairs are carried out in a Land Rover Approved Service Centre using Land Rover Genuine Parts.
PAINT SURFACE WARRANTY
As well as your three year unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty, your vehicle has a paint surface warranty. This begins at the same time as your vehicle warranty and continues for three years. If there are any defects to the paint itself, or resulting from the way it was applied, repairs will be carried out free of charge by any Land Rover Approved Service Centre.
ANTI-CORROSION WARRANTY
If any part of your Land Rover’s bodywork is corroded with rust, the affected panels are repaired or replaced by a Land Rover Approved Service Centre, free of charge. Regardless of mileage or any change of ownership, this coverage lasts six years from the day you take delivery of your new Land Rover.

And pick up the bill.
Bringing you home
If your Land Rover can’t be repaired in Europe - or the repairs won’t be finished by the time you’re due home - we’ll bring your Land Rover back to the Approved Service Centre nearest your UK address. And pick up the tab, naturally (as long as it’s not more than the market value of your vehicle).

If your Land Rover needs to be kept securely while waiting recovery or repatriation, we’ll pay up to £100 for storage. Your choice.
Your onward journey
Approved Service Centres work fast. But if your Land Rover can’t be fixed within four hours, we won’t hold you up. We’ll arrange and pay for you to get to your destination. Or if you’d rather wait until your Land Rover is back on the road, we’ll cover a hotel for you, for up to four days.
A replacement vehicle
If your Land Rover is being repaired after recovery by Land Rover Assistance, we’ll do everything we can to sort you a replacement vehicle for up to two weeks. You’ll just need to show a valid driving licence, and pay a deposit for petrol plus any extra days hire required.
Returning your Land Rover
If we’ve taken your Land Rover to an Approved Service Centre more than 50 miles from your home address, there won’t be any problem getting it back. We’ll deliver it safely home to your UK address.
