THEFT ALERT

If an automatic theft alert has been triggered for your vehicle, you will be presented with a theft alert screen. This alert can be seen on both the InControl Remote App and the InControl website. Please contact the Tracking Call Centre, as instructed on the alert screen. For security purposes, all the features of the website and the app will be disabled.

TRANSPORT MODE

Transport Mode* allows you to put your vehicle on a trailer or train, or tow it, without a theft alert being triggered. It can be enabled from the Remote Smartphone App or the InControl website. Once switched on, the vehicle will not send automatic theft notifications for 10 hours if it is moved while the engine is off. All other automatic theft notifications will remain active, for example, a disconnected battery.

SERVICE MODE

Service Mode* must be switched on when taking your vehicle for a service to prevent a theft alert being triggered. Service Mode can be enabled from the Remote Smartphone App or the InControl website. Once switched on, the vehicle will not send automatic theft notifications for 10 hours.

*If the vehicle needs to be put in Transport Mode or Service Mode for more than 10 hours, please contact the Tracking Call Centre to request assistance.

 

As we roll out InControl, specific features described may be optional and market or powertrain dependent. Please consult your local Land Rover retailer for availability and full terms in your country. Certain features require an appropriate SIM with a suitable data contract, which will require a further subscription after the initial term advised by your retailer. Mobile connectivity cannot be guaranteed in all locations.
